Why
Stone “MOSS” Construction?
We named the company after our 12 year old Rottweiler, “Mossimo.”
Rottweilers were originally bred as work dogs in the field. This breed had to be affirmative and powerful enough to herd cattle and pull meat carts. They are incredibly loyal and despite popular belief, the Rottweiler is actually one of the most intelligent dog breeds in existence. Their ability to learn, adapt to their environments, and their keen eye for their surroundings are nearly unparalleled.

We think Mossimo is the perfect mascot for our company because he not only represents us perfectly, but inspires us. We are unconditionally loyal to our clients and hard working in the field. We have an ability to learn and adapt to every new project we take on, and our attention to detail is unrivaled. Although Rottweilers only live 9-11 years, we wanted to memorialize Mossimo for a lifetime, we mirror this inspiration to create an outdoor experience for our clients that will last a lifetime.
Mossimo loved being outdoors as much as we do, that is why our mission is to help people discover a life lived outside in a beautifully designed and constructed landscape.
Andre Guglietti
Co-Owner
Andre began as a heavy duty mechanic in Ontario. He moved to Calgary and worked his way to become a site supervisor for the largest commercial landscaping company, Simply Stone Landscapes, leading major projects like The University of Calgary. Tired of following engineered plans, he moved to Pembroke to explore his creative side in residential landscaping and to also be closer to family.

Christelle Sam

Christelle got a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Calgary, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She started a business when she was 18 and has never looked back. She is also on the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She ensures the client experience is nothing short of exceptional.
